U18 Assistant Manager Michael Jackson took the Under 18's to Watford and masterminded a comfortable 2-0 victory over The Hornets.
Joe Thompson & Luke Walsh continued their impressive goal-scoring with a goal apiece, following on from their brace & hat-trick against Coventry in last week's 6-0 thumping.
Thompson struck the first goal at Watford in the 37th minute, skipping past two players, before rounding the keeper & coolly slotting into the empty net.
Walsh made the game all but safe two minutes before half-time, diverting into the net after the goalkeeper could only push out Alex Hurst's driven cross into his path.
Watford had a spell of pressure around the 70 minute mark, but Crewe defended well to professionally see out the victory to record back-to-back clean sheets.
Next up for Lee Bell's side is a trip to Yorkshire to take on Sheffield United.
