Crewe Alexandra’s young defender Billy Sass-Davies will not be in involved at Grimsby Town this weekend due to his inclusion in the Wales Under-19 squad.

Sass-Davies, who made his senior debut for Crewe on Tuesday evening against Newcastle United’s Under-21s in the Checkatrade Trophy will be hoping to impress the Red Dragons in their two friendly games against Iceland.

Wales Under-19 boss Paul Bodin is assessing the players at his disposal before deciding on his squad for the upcoming qualifying matches.
