Crewe Alexandra could be handed a boost ahead of our mid-week trip to Wycombe Wanderers with the return of defender Perry Ng.

The right-back missed our weekend defeat to Carlisle United after suffering a slight ankle injury in the build-up to the game.

The Liverpool-born Ng trained last week but was deemed not quite fit enough to face the Cumbrians.

He has joined in today’s final training session and is expected to travel to Wycombe tomorrow.
