David Artell believes that his Crewe Alexandra side have 'had more good days than bad days this season', but he is aiming for three points against Carlisle United this weekend. Crewe have two successive league matches and that has seen us drop from 4th to 15th in the League Two table.
It is still early days in th season but the manager has spoken about finding that real consistency that will help us have a sustained push for the top places.
Artell told crewealex.net: “There is not much in the league this season and we are only eight games in. We have been terrific in some games and performed reasonably well in all the games apart from Grimsby, where I thought we were poor.
“Even though we lost 3-0 on Saturday at Exeter, we were still decent at times and passed the ball okay. We didn’t probe and pass it forward enough in the first half. For the first time this season we haven’t been in the game in the last 10 minutes.
“We have to become more consistent but we have had more good days than bad so far.”
