Udoh Stars In Derby Win For Halesowen

9 October 2017

Crewe Alexandra forward Daniel Udoh was the derby hero for Halesowen Town FC in their 2-1 win over Stourbridge on Saturday in front of over 2,300 watching spectators.

The on-loan forward scored both goals at the home of their neighbours to give John Hill’s a priceless victory to move them off the bottom of the Evo-Stick Premier Division.

Udoh’s first goal saw him race from his own half after winning a 50/50 challenge on the half-way line before calmly slotting home. He put Halesowen 2-0 up with a close range finish after good work from his strike partner McAtee. Stourbridge pulled one back but couldn’t find an equaliser.

Crewe midfielder Ollie Finney also played in the derby victory. Udoh has now scored four goals during his loan spell that ends at this month.
