Luke Walsh scored a last minute free-kick to rescue a point in a 3-3 draw at Bolton Wanderers in PDL 2 action.
Crewe took the lead in the first half when Walsh fizzed a corner towards the near post & the Trotters goalkeeper could only push the ball into his own net.
Bolton drew level through a ferocious drive from the edge of the box that zipped into the top corner via the palm of Alex keeper Will Appleyard.
The home side then took the lead from a corner kick before half-time, the defender heading down at the back stick before seeing the ball turned home from close range by a team mate.
Crewe levelled the contest through sub Malachi Linton after the break, heading home from an Alex Hurst cross before Bolton re-took the lead in controversial circumstances.
Alex Hurst had the ball in the net, but the referee pulled things back to award Crewe a free-kick and send a Wanderers player off, with the hosts then breaking the length of the pitch before slotting home.
Crewe did grab a deserved point though, Walsh firing home his free kick in the dying seconds from just outside the box.
