Crewe Alexandra's Under 18's have been drawn against Handsworth Parramore in the First Round of the FA Youth Cup.

Lee Bell's side will travel to Yorkshire for the match-up on a date to be agreed, expected to be before November 4 2017.

Hansworth reached the First Round after negotiating a passage through three qualifying rounds, including an impressive 2-1 victory over AFC Telford United in the third qualifying phase.

Crewe lost out in the First Round last season, going down 2-1 to Sheffield United at Bramall Lane to a cruel last kick of the game defeat.

The current crop will be hoping to emulate the achievements of the side a few years ago who knocked out Arsenal, Fulham & Bolton on the way to an evenutal Quarter-Final defeat to Manchester City.
