Accrington Will Present Different Threats To Notts County

20 October 2017

Crewe Alexandra boss David Artell says that John Coleman’ s Accrington Stanley side will present different challenges to that of Notts County.

Crewe upset the odds to beat the then league leaders on Tuesday night and Artell admits that his side will have to produce a similar level of performance to get a result this weekend.

Accrington have made a strong start to the season and currently occupy one of the play-off positions.

Artell told the club’s official website: “Accrington will have a bit more randomness than Notts County. They can mix it up when they need to.

“The front two of Kee and Jackson have done very well as a partnership. Kee seems to have been around forever but he certainly knows what the net is. Jackson came in from Barnsley and likes to run in behind, so we know they present a threat.

“We know Liam Nolan, who was here with us and he gets in and around the box and then they have McConville and Clark who chip in goals and create chances.

He added: “We have beaten the team that were at the top of the league and beaten Stevenage who were in the play-offs, so if we can match those performances at home then we will be fine.”
