Ng: "No Excuses Whatsoever"

21 November 2017

Perry Ng is glad that the club have a midweek game against Morecambe, so it gives us the perfect opportunity to get over Saturday’s disappointing defeat to Forest Green Rovers. Crewe led 2-1 until the final 10 minutes of the game and Ng, 21, says there can be no excuses for our run of poor form in the league.

Ahead of this evening’s trip to the Globe Arena, Ng told iFollow the Alex: “As you can imagine the dressing room was not a good place to be on Saturday. It is too far gone now and there can be no excuses.

“We have to get back to winning ways and quickly. We have to get over what happened on Saturday and thankfully we have a game straight away. We won’t forget what happened on Saturday but we have to learn from it and take the positives. For a lot of the game, the performance was good, but football lasts 90 plus minutes and we didn’t see it out when we should have.

“It wasn’t good and there can be no excuses whatsoever. It is up to us to fight for everything and make sure those tackles go in our favour more often. It is about making sure we put our bodies on the line to make sure that the ball doesn’t go in our net.”
