Crewe Alex Assistant Manager has echoed the word of boss Dave Artell in calling for their team to find a level of consistency to produce a string of impressive performances.

The Alex have won back-to-back games just once so far this season back in August, with impressive performances & victores often followed by disappointing results.

Lunt is hoping the work being done with the players can now start to bear fruit in the form of a string of results, starting with Lincoln City this weekend.

He said: "We get as frustrated as anyone & sometimes we dont think that's understood.

"We want the same as the supporters, we want to win every week, we want to do as well as we can.

"The consistency is not there. We've got young players & they haven't been able to put it in week after week, Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday-Tuesday, but it's a good experience for them.

"We still have to keep going & working as hard as we can & hopefully the consistency will come with that."
