Boss: "I Detest Losing"

Crewe Alexandra boss David Artell says that the whole football club has to come out of fighting if we are to get ourselves away from the dreaded relegation zone.

Crewe suffered a fourth successive league defeat on the road at Forest Green on Saturday and Artell believes it is good to have a game at Morecambe this evening to try and erase the disappointment of losing late on at the New Lawn.

Artell, who captained the club to promotion in 2012 says ‘losing is not in his nature’ and he is working tirelessly to turn things around.

A bold Artell told the club’s official website: “We know our backs are against the wall at the minute and as a whole football club we have to come out fighting.

“We have to stick together and be resolute in the face of adversity.

“I hate it. I don't like losing. It's easy to say, but it's not in my nature. I absolutely detest it.”
