David Artell is looking forward to his Crewe Alexandra side testing themselves against table topping Luton Town this weekend.
The Hatters are top of League Two on goal difference and arrive in South Cheshire on a run of four wins in their last five outings in all competitions.
Nathan Jones’ side are many peoples favourites for promotion but Artell says that his underdogs can get a result.
Artell told the club’s official website: “Luton are top of the league but we are back at home and it will be another opportunity for us. It is a chance for us to show that we can compete.
“We go into the game full of confidence after the result on Tuesday. We have performed well against some of the top sides and we will be looking to rise to the occasion again. We hope that trend continues tomorrow.
“We know Luton have good players and are a strong unit. They will be up there, we know that but we also have good players and I’m sure Nathan Jones will be telling his players the same thing about us.
He added: “There won’t be many giving us a chance but we want the form book to go out of the window and make sure it is about what we do.”
