Defender becomes third & final scholar to pen first pro contract

Defender Ross Woodcock has become the latest Crewe Alexandra academy graduate to sign professional terms with the Club after successfully graduating from the academy.

The 18-year-old has penned a 12-month deal, with the Club's option of a further year, after impressing in Lee Bell's Under 18 side this season.

Woodcock becomes the third & final graduate offered terms to commit their future to the Club after midfielder Josh Lundstram & striker Lewis Reilly signed earlier this week.

He has enjoyed a brief loan spell with Alsager Town towards the tail end of this season to gain some invaluable experience of playing senior mens football & will link up with Dave Artell & his squad for pre-season training in June.

Everyone at Crewe Alexandra would like to congratulate Ross on his first pro deal.
