Crewe Alexandra is delighted to announce that young defender Perry Ng has committed his future to the Football Club. The former Academy graduate has signed a new 12-month deal with an option of a further year depending on his appearances next season.

The Liverpool-born defender really established himself under David Artell towards the end of the season, making a total of 20 appearances during the last campaign. The 21-year-old stepped up after untimely injuries to the likes of Captain George Ray, Jon Guthrie and Ben Nugent.

Ng, who has also played in both full-back positions and as a holding midfielder during his early career has now made 26 appearances for the club in all competitions.

Ng also spent a successful period on loan at Hyde United during the 2014/15 season.
