Lunt: "We Want To End Season On A High"

2 May 2017

Kenny Lunt says no-one is 'on the beach' before the final whistle on Saturday.

. Kenny Lunt has told the club’s official web-site that the club want to end the season on a high against Barnet this weekend. The club’s assistant manager wants to go into the closed season on the back of a good performance and hopefully three points

Although, both clubs are safe, the club’s assistant manager says that there will no players on the beach until the final whistle on Saturday evening.

Lunt told crewealex.net: “As an ex-player I don’t believe in not giving your all in every game you play. You can think about holidays or whatever when the season is over.  As a player you want to win every game and Saturday will be no different.

“It is a long time to the next game, and we want to end the season on a high. We want to finish strongly and hopefully stay where we are in the table. We want to give the home fans something to shout about.

“We want it to be a good day and for the fans to make as much noise as possible. They have been brilliant with us. They have travelled all over the country to get behind the lads and at home they have been great with everyone.”
