David Artell says his decision over out of contract players won't change.
David Artell has admitted that he has had no further contact with his out of contract players, Ollie Turton, Perry Ng, George Ray or Jon Guthrie.
The Alex boss remains adamant that those players out of contract still have until next Monday to decide on their futures. Artell has gone on record to say that he hopes all four continue to develop with us.
Ray and Ng are a little bit different because they are under the age of 24 and the club would receive compensation if they elect not to sign this summer.
David told crewealex.net: “I haven’t spoken to them and nothing has really changed. They know what the deadline is. They have until next Monday to re-sign and they have a decision to make.
“I am adamant on that because we have to move on. I hope they all sign and I remain optimistic that they will. If they do not want to be here then they know they just have to tell me.
He added: “If they sign then that is great and want we want. If they don’t then we move on. When one door closes another one opens for someone else. That’s football and you have to quickly move on.”
