Boss looks forward to the final game of the season
Crewe Alexandra manager David Artell says that our final opponents of the season, Barnet, can mix their game up. Artell is targeting a final home win to end the campaign and to send the fans home happier over the summer.
The Crewe Alexandra boss told the club’s official web-site: “I’ve seen Barnet and they can do a bit of both. They can play some really good football or they can go more direct and hit Akinde.
“They have been able to put some really good runs together. Having a prolific goalscorer and that plan B certainly helps. Can they do it better than Plymouth? The table suggests not but it will be a tough game.
“It will be a battle and we will have to stand up to that better. We coped with it for large parts of the game against Plymouth and then they have two shots on target and score two.
“It is up to us to impose ourselves on the game. We are at home for the last game and we owe the fans, who have been terrific with us since I took over.”
