David Artell says talks about his own future will commence when the board are ready.
David Artell says he is not worried about his own immediate future. The Alex boss is set to meet Chairman John Bowler later this month to discuss his contract going forward.
Artell has steered Crewe to safety in EFL League Two with three games to spare and we ended the season in 17th place with 55 points.
The Crewe boss told crewealex.net: “I’m not worried. I am sure when the chairman is ready he will come and speak to me. He is a man of his word and I trust him and the board of directors.
“When I took over in January, the chairman said to me that he would speak to me again in May and it is the only the beginning of the month, so I know it will happen.
He added: "If it gets to the 29th or 30th Maythen I might give him a nudge, but I am sure it will happen sooner rather than later.”
