Lunt says on-loan winger could be involved this weekend against Barnet.

Kenny Lunt says that on-loan winger Alex Kiwoyma is still in contention for a place in the matchday squad this weekend after missing out on a place for our trip to Plymouth Argyle last weekend.

The club’s assistant manager says that there are still one or two places up for grabs in the matchday squad for this weekend’s final match against Barnet. Fans are reminded that the final game will be kicking off at 5.30pm at Gresty Road.

Lunt told the club’s official web-site: “Alex is still under consideration. He was a bit unfortunate to miss out last weekend but we rewarded Tom (Lowery) for getting himself back.

“Alex has had a good season for us and has played a lot of games. I am sure he would have learned a lot from the experience.

“Alex has been really good. His attitude has been really good and we will discuss the squad on Friday and decide who we will go with.

“I’m sure we will have a chat with Alex at some point about his future plans are going forward.”
