Perry Has Been Unlucky

Artell sas that Perry NG has shown the value of having stenght in depth.

Crewe Alexandra boss David Artell says that his young defender Perry NG can count himself very unfortunate not to starting games following his impressive display as an emergency substitute against Crawley Town. NG had to replace the injured club captain George Ray after just 20 minutes and he helped us achieve a second successive clean-sheet in a 3-0 win over the Red Devils.

Artell told the club’s official web-site: “Perry has been unlucky. He came on at Crawley when we needed him and he didn’t put a foot wrong.

“He has got to wait for another chance and he will get another chance. All he can do is keep training well and keep playing well. He is playing well for the Under-23s and Alex Morris is doing a really job with them. They are winning games of football.”
