Crewe midfielder to face Estonia on March 28th.
James Jones’ form for Crewe Alexandra has seen him named in Scott Gemmill’s Scotland Undr-21 side for their International challenge match against Estonia. The game will be taking place at the Paisley 2021 Stadium on Tuesday, 28 March 2017. Gemmill named 10 uncapped players in his squad but Jones kept his place after scoring 9 goals in League Two this season.
Crewe boss David Artell has told the club’s official web-site that the midfielder deserves his latest call-up.
David told crewealex.net: “Jonah has been one of our most consistent players this season and he has bright future in the game. He wants to learn and get better and he deserves his latest call-up for Scotland.
“He has added goals to his game and shows great courage in possession for someone so young.”
