Alex boss says recruitment planning will be implemented for summer captures

David Artell says that his weekend meeting with his recruitment staff went well and that he will continue to keep them briefed about what he is looking for to reshape his squad for next season.

The Alex told the club’s official web-site:”I just want to keep them fully briefed on what's happening, where we are going, what we are trying to do, the strategy which will be implemented.

“Hopefully, we'll be better prepared, certainly than what I was in January. That was a whirlwind.

“We have more information, more knowledge, done more research, due diligence of it all is better in the hope we make better decisions.

He added: “It's not an exact science, recruitment, by a long stretch. It might not work out like that. But the more information you've got the more you minimize that risk as much as you can do.”
