Artell: "Bowery Is On Our Mind"

David Artell says loan striker is one that has been discussed going forward.

David Artell has admitted to the club’s official web-site that he has ‘Jordan Bowery in mind’ for next season if a deal can be agreed with the striker and his parent club Leyton Orient.



Bowery arrived on loan from Leyton Orient in the January transfer window to replace the Bury bound Ryan Lowe and he has accomplished that. Not only has Bowery netted twice but his unselfish play has seen him play a key role in four other Crewe goals and he has helped transform the front three.



Bowery has won the Alex fans over with his work ethic and industry for the team and Artell has been delighted with the impact made by the former Aston Villa and Chesterfield striker.

David told us: “Jordan is my thoughts. Yes, he is on my mind but it is out of our hands. He has one year left on his contract so we’ll have to see but he is one we have talked about certainly."
