David Artell says the mind-set of his players is beginning to change.
David Artell has told the club’s official web-site that he believes that his players are beginning to change their mind-set into a winning one. The Alex boss felt that the squad was in a state of a losing habit when we took over, but he has worked hard in changing the culture in training and taking that positive attitude into games.
The Crewe boss said: “I have always believed that the brain is the most powerful tool and it is about the players buying into what you want to do. Momentum and confidence is massive in anything and the players are beginning to believe.
“Hopefully we are seeing that belief returning and once you can change the mind-set, then you get results on back of it. It is about having the right mentality. People ask me about how many points we will need to be safe and I am not interested in that. Genuinely I am not.
He added: “There are 24 points up for grabs and that is what we are aiming to try and get.”
