Mornflake Oats, Whitby Morrison, Holdcroft Hyundai, Blue Bell BMW & Martin & Co have all got behind Matt & his fundrasing for Prostate Cancer UK with generous offerings of either monetary donations for the charity, or in the provision of kit & equipment to help make the challenge possible.
The 145-mile challenge starts at 8am tomorrow (Friday) at Barnsley's Oakwell Stadium, cycling to Hull City's KCOM stadium before hitching an overnight ferry to Rotterdam to begin day two of cycling early Saturday morning. The event will complete late that afternoon at Ajax's Amsterdam Arena.
Matt told www.crewealex.net: "I can't thank everyone enough who has supported me & this fantastic charity.
"Everyone at the Football Club has been really supportive from the boardroom to the dressing room & our fantastic sponsors.
"The Club, Mornflake, Hyundai, Blue Bell, Whitby Morrison & Martin & Co have helped to make this ride possible from their mix of cash donations & provision of kit & I can't thank them enough for the support.
"Prostate Cancer UK continue to do fantastic work & I'm pleased to have so far been able to raise over £1,600 for the cause.
"However, by the end of the ride I'd love this total to pass the £2,000 mark, so please donate what you can! Thank you for the support!"
