Lunt Happy To Land Targets

6 June 2017

Assistant manager Kenny Lunt says the club’s management team are happy with our early business in the transfer market.

The club have already recruited forwards Jordan Bowery and Chris Porter, as well as the former Carlisle United defender Michael Raynes and Lunt says they are on the look-out for more targets as we strength our squad for the coming season.

Lunt told the club’s official website: “We are really happy with the signings we have made so far and there are still others we are looking to bring in. We want the experienced lads we have bought in to help the younger lads we already have here.

“It has happened probably quicker than we even thought and there were a few teams interested in the players we were after, so we are delighted that they chose to join us and come here.

“The players that have come in have mentioned the facilities and the philosophy of the club. They will see that the team spirit is good here and the people are great to work with, so hopefully that will help them succeed with their performances.”
