Crewe Alexandra midfielder James Jones enjoyed his most productive season, scoring 11 goals from his 50 appearances. The 21-year-old was determined to add a goal threat to his game and his improvement in that area was one of the highlights of the season.
Jones was also clinical from the penalty spot and the Scotland Under-21 International wants to job from again next season.
Jonah told Crewe Alexandra’s iFollow: “I’d been saying for a while that I wanted to add goals to my game, so to get into double figures was what I was looking to do for previous seasons, so hopefully I can build on that now and look to hit double figures again.
“I’m going to try and keep on the penalties! There’s a few new faces coming in, but I’m definitely going to try -I don’t see why not?
“If I’m still scoring then anyone would have a hard job of taking them off me!”
