Boss Dave Artell has reflected on Friday’s First Round Carabao Cup draw & is pleased with the home tie against Bolton Wanderers.
The draw was conducted live on iFollow The Alex from Thailand & threw up a meeting with the Trotters after last meeting them in the same competition in 2014.
Artell said: “It’s not a bad draw at all, we always want to be at home. It’s going to be a good test for us.
“It’s one that the players should relish & I’m looking forward to it.
“We’ve obviously got a league game first up, which we’ll find out tomorrow, but it’s a home draw against decent opposition.
“Phil Parkinson did extremely well there last year to get them promoted & I’m sure they’ll still be on the crest of a wave so it will be a real good challenge for us.”
