David Artell says he is not panicking over recruiting more players into the Football Club. The Crewe Alexandra boss is working behind the scenes to add more quality to his squad after already signing three key players this summer.
The Crewe boss says he has irons in the fire and ‘one is getting hotter’ as he aims to add a midfielder and defenders to his ranks.
“We are working on things and there are a few irons in the fire. One has got hotter and we are still a fair bit away on another, ‘says David.
“I am the same as the fans. I want more. When it happens it happens but we won’t rush into things. I would rather not sign someone than sign the wrong one for this football club. If they are not the right character then we won’t be doing the business.
“We are involved with a couple of bits and bobs. We still have plenty of time and I’m not panicking over things. We know the positions we are after and potentially the ones we want. We will go through them in order of priority and we will get them in.”
