Crewe Alexandra boss David Artell hopes that the local community will come down to the Alexandra Stadium for the club’s open day tomorrow to have a really enjoyable day with us.
Artell says it is vital that the players and staff interact with supporters and he wants the loyal fans to see an open training session at Gresty Road. The open day starts at 10am and ends at 2pm. Entry is free.
David told the club’s official web-site: “I think it is a great idea to open the doors of Gresty Road and for us to interact with the fans. I hope the fans will turn out and see what we do day-to-day.
“Come and see how hard the boys work. The days of them being home for 1pm to watch Diagnosis: Murder are over. It used to be like that when I first started! It’s not now.
“The sponsors have been really generous as well and hopefully it will bring the whole community closer together. It’s a win-win for everyone.
“If it is not chucking it down, I hope there will be a number, both young and old coming down to the stadium.”
