Former Blackpool defender Eddie Nolan has signed a one-year-contract with Crewe Alexandra, with the option of a further year based on appearances.
The 28-year-old can play at centre-half or in either full-back position & has linked up with his new Alex team mates for the first time today to begin pre-season training.
He becomes the fourth new addtion at Gresty Road so far this summer after the arrivals of Jordan Bowery, Michael Raynes & Chris Porter.
Nolan spent one season with the Tangerines, making ten appearances in 2016/17 after starting his career with then Premier League side Blackburn Rovers in 2006.
He left Ewood Park in 2009 to join Preston after just one Rovers appearance, via loan spells with Stockport County & Hartlepool United.
Eddie made 46 appearances over two seasons for North End in the Championship before joining Scunthorpe United for a five-year-stay in 2011.
He made 137 appearances at Glanford Park before playing for York City in League Two in 2015/16 & then Blackpool last season.
