David Artell says he is looking to learn more from his team when facing League One opponents Bury this weekend.
The Crewe Alexandra boss expects another tough test against Lee Clark’s side and he believes that staging the game at Gigg Lane will only add to the challenge.
Artell told the club’s official web-site: “Bury are a good side and Lee has made some good signings this summer. I am sure some of their new players will play and the Bury fans will want to see them at Gigg Lane.
“Having the game at their ground makes its more serious and real if you like. They are a good side and are a league above, so it will give us some indication of where we are. We know it will be a competitive game and that is what we want.
“I am not into walkovers and us scoring five or six all pre-season."
