Crewe Loan Jordan Bowery From Leyton Orient

The Alex take striker until the end of the season

Crewe Alexandra have completed the loan signing of Leyton Orient striker Jordan Bowery on a deal until the end of the season.

The former Aston Villa striker becomes Dave Artell's first signing as Crewe Manager & is set to link-up with his team mates for training tomorrow after passing a medical.

Jordan will wear the number 16 shirt & is available for the Club's trip to Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.

The 25-year-old started his career at Chesterfield in 2008 & scored 17 in 101 appearances for the Club before Villa paid £500,000 for his services in 2012.

Bowery made only 22 appearances in his two years at Villa Park, before moving to Rotherham in the Championship for a reported £160,000, playing two seasons & scoring six goals in 44 appearances.

He enjoyed last season at Oxford United, becoming a regular & scoring seven goals in 20, before penning a two-year-deal at Orient during summer 2016.
