Bowery: "A Result Against Leaders Would Be Massive"

20 January 2017

Jordan Bowery is hoping to play some part against high-flying Doncaster Rovers this weekend.

New loan signing Jordan Bowery has told the club’s official web-site that a positive result at table topping Doncaster Rovers will be a massive boost to the squad’s confidence. Darren Ferguson’s side are overwhelming favourites for the League Two encounter at the Keepmoat Stadium but Bowery says that Crewe Alexandra is capable of causing an upset.

Bowery has to wait and see if he will start at Doncaster tomorrow after signing on loan from Leyton Orient.

Ahead of this weekend’s game, Jordan has told the club’s official web-site: “It would be fantastic for us to go there and get a result. It would be a massive lift for us going forward.

“We know that Doncaster are going really well and that is why it would be fantastic to go there and surprise a few people. I think that on any given day, any team can win. There are of course, the better teams in this league like Doncaster, but there is no reason why we cannot go there and win.

“As a footballer, you have to be excited about going to places like Doncaster and going out and doing the business.”
