New Manager just misses out on adding to squad for Luton clash
Dave Artell admitted he just missed out on strengthening his squad in time for tomorrow's clash with Luton Town, but will be picking up the pursuit on Monday.
The new Alex Manager has had a whirlwind first week in the job meeting his new players, organizing his staff & planning his sessions - but he's also been working hard on the recruitment front & is hoping to make further progress next week.
Dave said: "We are trying. We were hoping to get one done in time for tomorrow, but that's now not going to happen in time.
"Hopefully it will still happen early next week, but there's a few more t's to cross & i's to dot. We're hopeful on that one.
"There's another couple of possibilities. We're working hard on that front I have to say.
"Possibly one or two may leave this month, on that score I’ll keep my counsel, keep my powder dry and you’ll find out in due course.”
