Alex boss David Artell has the highest praise for fans support at Bloomfield Road.
Crewe Alexandra boss David Artell says that the away following at Blackpool gave him Goosebumps after they helped the Railwaymen fight back from 2-0 down to salvage a deserved point. The away following erupted when full-back Ollie Turton latched onto a Jordan Bowery knockdown to draw Crewe level with just a couple of minutes remaining.
David told the club’s official web-site: “The fans were unbelievable on Saturday. They were fantastic all the way through and they gave me Goosebumps, its human nature to have that feeling when you see and hear them like that.
“I cannot praise them highly enough and it would be great to have that every week. I appreciate that going away from home is expensive, but at home we need them to turn Gresty Road into a real fortress.
“It is great when they come and get behind the lads like that. The 700 who went to Blackpool were in great spirits. I don’t know if they had been down the prom and had a few shandies beforehand but they were fantastic and I’m sure we gave them something to shout about.”
