Callum Cooke says he has settled into life at Crewe very quickly.

Callum Cooke has told Crewe Alex PlayerHD that he has been able to settle into life at Crewe very quickly and that has only assisted his game. Cooke scored his first senior goal in the 5-0 win over Grimsby Town at the weekend and the on-loan Middlesbrough midfielder has soon settled into the standard of League Two.

Callum told us: “The lads have been great with me and that has allowed me to settle into very quickly. The staff and everyone around the place have been first class with me and that has only helped my game.

“The crowd have been brilliant with me and although I got some stick from the rest of the lads about my celebration when I slid on my knees, it was still a great feeling. There is nothing better than that.

“The gaffer just tells me to go out there and produce a performance for the team and that is what I will try and do in every game. We want to pull away from the bottom places and move up the table as quickly as we can.”
