Crewe players to be ambassadors as part of Community Scheme for 2017

Club appoint club ambassadors within community programme

As part of Crewe Alexandra’s commitment to the community and the Professional Football Association, the players continue to have a presence within the local community and for charity causes. The players visited the Children Ward at Leighton Hospital just before Christmas and they often visit local schools and groups to promote sport, health and well-being. We hope we continue to try and offer inspiration and education to youngsters in the Cheshire area.

Members of the Crewe Alexandra squad have put themselves forward to act as ‘ambassadors’ for different themes within the local community and everyone at the Alexandra Soccer Centre in Shavington would like to thank the playing and non-playing staff for their continued support of community projects.

The 2017 ambassadors are:

Sports Participation – James Jones & Charlie Kirk

Education – Dave Richards

Health – Chris Dagnall

Social Inclusion – Callum Bullock

Kick It Out – Crewe Alexandra Squad

Show Racism the Red Card – Crewe Alexandra Squad

Girls/Women’s football – James Jones & Charlie Kirk

Disability – Chris Dagnall

Primary Stars – Tom Lowery & James Jones
