David Artell to address clubs scouts prior to tonight's game.

Crewe boss David Artell has revealed that he will hold meeting with the club’s recruitment staff prior to tonight’s game against Wycombe Wanderers. The Alex boss will outline his plans for the summer and indicate what he is looking for moving forward.

Artell will continue to tap into the knowledge and experience of his head of recruitment Neil Baker but says that he will implement a strategic plan to help him land the players we needs.

Artell said: “I will have a meeting with the scouts prior to the game and outline what I want going forward. I want to start things as early this and have a plan. I am a firm believer that the more you plan and prepare, the more likely you are to have success.

“I will just let them know what we are looking for and for them to keep an eye out for those players going out of contract in the summer. I think that will give us a better chance to know what we are going for in the summer and what we need.”
