Chesterfield: Preview & Ways To Follow The Game...

26 December 2017

Unable to make it to Chesterfield for Boxing Day? The Alex have you covered…

Chesterfield vs Crewe Alexandra

Sky Bet League Two

The Proact Stadium

Tuesday 26 December, 2017

Kick-Off 3:00pm

Crewe travel to Chesterfield on Boxing Day for the first match in the second set of fixtures for the season in desperate need of a victory against their fellow strugglers.

With The Alex now having played every League Two team once, all teams should now have a measure of one another, with Crewe looking to replicate the form they showed against Chesterfield earlier this season.

The 5-1 victory at Gresty Road is arguably the high-point of the season so far, when Chris Porter (2), Perry Ng, George Cooper & Callum Ainley got on the score-sheet on that memorable afternoon in September.

Saturday's 3-0 defeat against Swindon undid some of the good work & positivity gained from the previous weeks' 3-0 victory over Crawley, but these festive fixtures are now all the more vital in the battle to remain in the EFL.

Both sides are in the bottom five of the division, with Crewe's 23 points three better off than the Spireites who are joint bottom of the table on 20.

The best way to take in the game is obviously in person at the stadium (tickets available at Chesterfield, click here for more info) but if you can't make it, then take in the information below for different ways to follow the action!
