Boss On Tough Cheltenham Encounter

6 December 2017

Crewe Alexandra boss David Artell is hoping that his side can build on promising away results at Morecambe and Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup by picking up three points at Cheltenham on Saturday.

The Robins are currently 16th in League Two and are four points ahead of the Railwaymen in the table.

Artell expects another difficult encounter at Whaddon Road this weekend. “Every team in this league poses a problem and they are all difficult, ' he said.

“We have had two decent results away from home, with the win at Morecambe and the draw with Blackburn on Sunday, so we have to take that form into the Cheltenham game.

“There are three points up for grabs again and we will have to stand up to Cheltenham on their own ground and match them physically. We then have to have the courage to play our football when the opportunity presents itself. “
