David Artell has informed the club’s official website that midfielder Callum Ainley will train and is expected to make himself available for tomorrow’s home game against Crawley.
Ainley was forced off against Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday evening with a cut above his eye but after being stitched up, the Academy graduate has been able to resume training with no issues.
Artell told the club’s official website: “Callum is fine. He had two or three stitches at half-time and it hasn’t damaged his looks. I told him that I had 14 once in my eyelid and he laughed and didn’t think I was serious.
“In all seriousness’s, he be fine and will be available for the weekend. The more fit players we have, the more options I have and I would rather be making those tough decisions than not.”
