A youthful looking Crewe Alexandra side lost 3-1 to Quorn FC in our latest pre-season friendly.

Crewe were behind to an early penalty but rallied to level before the break thanks to another pre-season goal from midfielder Ollie Finney.

The Railwaymen then conceded in the opening minutes of the second period and although we were presented with chances to draw level, it was our hosts securing the win with a late third goal.

The match was played on Quorn’s new 3G facility and as usual our friends were the perfect hosts once again.
