Crewe Alexandra have completed a deal to sign midfielder Conor Grant on loan from Everton.
The 22-year-old has moved to The Alexandra Stadium until January 10, and is available for Saturday's trip to Grimsby.
Grant progressed through the academy at Goodison Park, signing his first professional deal in July 2013.
He enjoyed a loan spell at Motherwell in the second half of 2014/15, making 13 appearances in his first taste of senior football.
Joining Doncaster Rovers on loan for the majority of the 2015/16 campaign, Grant made a big impression at The Keepmoat, netting four goals in his 22 appearances before he earned a loan switch to Championship side Ipswich Town for the first half of last season.
He made six appearances during that period, before re-joining Rovers for his second loan stint in January this year, adding a further 21 appearances to his record to help Doncaster win promotion from Sky Bet League Two.
Two of Grant's six career league goals have come against The Alex, netting in both of Rovers' victories at The Keepmoat over the previous two seasons.
Conor will wear the number 28 shirt for the duration of his time at Crewe.
Manager Dave Artell said: "All-in-all, I think we've got a really good player that will help us increase our chances of having 11 players performing every week.
"We believe we've got a really good player, and hopefully that will manifest itself in the games coming up."
