Artell on our Good Friday visitors Notts County.
Crewe Alexandra manager David Artell has praised the job conducted by Kevin Nolan at Notts County. The former Newcastle, West Ham and Bolton Wanderers midfield player has managed to move the Magpies away from the relegation zone with seven wins from their last nine games.
Notts County will be looking to increase their winning streak to five straight matches on Friday and Artell expects a tough game against one of the in-form teams in League Two.
The Crewe boss told the club’s official web-site: “Like ourselves there was a hint of relegation at Notts County but they have managed to pull it round with Kevin (Nolan) in charge. He has done a great job and they turned things around.
“They have always had good players and it took Kevin to come in and get them playing to their potential again. They are in really good form and have managed to build some real momentum.
Artell added: “We know it will be a tough game and we respect them, but we also know that if we can play to our potential and don’t give away ridiculous goals then we have a good chance of getting a result. “
