Artell says Danny working hard, but he may just miss out
Midfielder Danny Hollands looks set to miss the remainder of 2016/17 after boss Dave Artell confirmed the midfielder would struggle to make it back onto the pitch before the end of the campaign.
Hollands has set his sights on a return to the fold for the final day of the season tie with Barnet, but Artell has suggested the game could come too soon for the 'exemplary professional'.
Artell said: "Dan's going along well & healing quickly, but I think Barnet might come around too quick for him.
"Being the good pro that he is, he's absolutely grafting his socks off to try & get back & make it happen for that game.
"I would say that is on the unlikely side though. For the sake of one game, I wouldn't want him to rush back too soon, get re-injured, then be facing a big problem in the summer.
"I know what he can do, so I won't be making a decision on one game & whether or not he makes that last game of the season."
