Manager demands greater work ethic following disappointing defeat at Yeovil.
David Artell says that he is after a much improved performance against bottom club Leyton Orient this weekend. The Crewe Alexandra boss was hugely disappointed with our Easter Monday showing at Yeovil and has demanded a much better work ethic against the O’s at the Alexandra Stadium this weekend.
Following the 3-0 defeat to the Glovers, the Alex boss said: “It was dire from us and we gave Yeovil too much respect. We gave Yeovil the same sort of respect of that Brazil and only about three or four of them came out with any sort of credit. There were not many positives and when we serve up a performance like that then they best get ready.
“It was unacceptable and we got what we deserved. It’s not pre-season friendly time and we will be rolling our sleeves up and working a lot harder on Saturday.”
