Whitby Morrison Apprenticeship Opportunities

6 September 2016

One of our main sponsors wants ambitious school leavers to join their apprenticeship scheme.

Local business and club sponsor Whitby Morrison have some great opportunities available to join their renowned Apprenticeship Programme.  Or perhaps you know someone in such a position? Have you recently left school and are unsure which career path to take?

Whitby Morrison and Crewe Alexandra have worked together for almost 25 years, and when looking for the best way to get the message of these opportunities out there, it was only natural for the two local establishments to work together.

The Apprenticeship Programme is one of the key reasons Whitby Morrison have become recognised as the world’s number one when it comes to Ice Cream Vans, Trailers and Kiosks. Many of the Whitby Morrison Team joined after leaving school, progressed through the programme and have continued progressing with the business ever since.

Right from day one, every member of the Whitby Morrison team has a valid opinion and plays an important role in contributing to both the day to day and long terms development of the business and its products – there are not many places that you can have a real key input in designing and building an Ice Cream Van!

Working in conjunction with local colleges, the Apprenticeship Programme allows individuals to gain a sound understanding of an engineering environment before being given the opportunity to progress and excel in an area of their choice; this can vary from Coachbuilding, to Metalwork, to Refrigeration and Electronics, to Painting and Signwriting to Fibreglassing (and many other possibilities too!).

So from Crewe’s world famous production line here at the Alexandra Stadium, this is your opportunity to join another.

For further details of this excellent opportunity, please contact Ed Whitby at Whitby Morrison via 01270 581318 or ed_w@whitbymorrison.com
