Steve Davis looks forward to welcoming Paul and Exeter to Gresty Road.
Steve Davis says he is looking forward to coming up against Exeter City boss Paul Tisdale for the first time in his career this Saturday. The Alex boss says the former Team Bath Coach has been the perfect fit for the south coast club over the last decade.
Tisdale is now the second longest serving manager in the country, behind Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger and Davis is looking forward to welcoming Exeter to Gresty Road for the first time in 25 years.
Ahead of this weekend’s fixture at the Alexandra Stadium, Steve said: “Paul is a manager I admire and he seems to have been at Exeter forever.
“He has done a great job over the last 10 years. They have experienced promotions and relegations but they have stuck with him through the highs and the lows.
“He has survived the test of time and they realise that he is a good fit for the Football Club. The board and the fans trust him and that has allowed him to build a good club. He has come through tough times, as well enjoying the highs of reaching League One.”
