Youngsters pen fresh terms to remain at the ClubCrewe Alexandra starlets Charlie Kirk & Callum Ainley have both penned fresh terms at the Club to keep them at The Alexandra Stadium until summer 2018.
The pair's original deals were due to expire in June 2017, but the home-grown academy graduates have now agreed new deals to extend their stay in South Cheshire.
Both Kirk & Ainley officially graduated from the academy during the summer, but both were handed pro deals part-way through their two-year-scholarships.
Breaking into the first team set-up last season, Ainley & Kirk, both 18, have gained vital experience in senior football with Kirk making 19 appearances and Ainley notching 22, adding two goals too.
It's been almost exactly a year since Ainley made his initial debut as a 17-year-old, coming off the bench in a home clash with Swindon, whilst Kirk had to wait until February to make his bow, featuring in the 2-2 away draw at Rochdale.
Crewe Alexandra would like to congratulate both players on their new deals and wish them success for the season ahead.
